Rants from the Crib

An Ob/Gyn gone mad

Weekly Photo Challenge: Silhouette

We took our daughter for her first real trip to the beach when she was three.  We finished up one evening at a place called The Wharf, which is an area of shopping and restaurants that boasts the largest ferris wheel in the Southeast.  The wheel was beautiful and I took several shots of it as the sun was going down.  There was just enough light to pick up the silhouette of the wheel, and just enough darkness for the camera to pick up the lights on the wheel itself.  This is one of my favorite pictures.  I will note that we did not ride the ferris wheel until this year, because Amanda was little and too scared to go up in such a big thing.
